Judie Bulluss and Peter Coles are Education Consultants specialising in Perceptual Motor Programs and Word Study. Since leaving the Victorian Ministry of Education they have been conducting teacher and parent Inservice Education programs in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, N.S.W., the Northern Territory and New Zealand.  On site training has enable teachers from overseas countries to implement the program.

Peter Coles was Principal at Southmoor Primary School and served the school in that capacity for 17 years.  His qualifications and training are in the area of Economics, Mathematics and Educational Measurement.  He came to motor Programs by way of his dissatisfaction with the programs in schools that lead to many children failing to acquire the 'Access Skills' of reading and mathematics.  Peter is an advocate of clearly defined objectives, extensive but precise curriculum programs and detailed evaluation and measurement of the achievements of pupils and teachers. Judie Bulluss was a Primary teacher with many years experience in the junior school.  She believes that many students are being disadvantaged by being started on a formal learning program before the foundation skills have been mastered.  Hence her belief that motor, auditory and visual skill training form the pre requisite skill base for future learning. They have published resource material for Perceptual Motor Programs (Smart Start with PMP,) a Word Study / Spelling program (Smart Words), a foundation skills in mathematics program (Smart Numbers), and information for parents (Preparing your child for school.)
